I have discovered something more important to me than happiness: self-respect. Even on a bad day, a day when I am far from being my own biggest fan, my integrity can remain intact. That is the ultimate measure of myself, at the end of a day, and ultimately at the end of my life. It's not about what happens to me; it is always about how I respond.
Instead of a one-party-take-all political system, we need our representatives to be expert problem solvers rather than people who insist that everything they say is right and the only way to solve a problem is their way. In what other job do we go to work claiming to always be right and making clear that our colleagues are not only wrong, but that they are also probably bad people?
The ability to collaborate & to compromise is strength, not weakness.
Not getting along with colleagues is weakness, not strength.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
